One Reason For Your Company’s Morale Issues

I’m sometimes surprised when leaders, managers, and co-workers treat each other as if they are the competition. They are not open to ideas, differences, perspective. But many people don’t see your business the same way that you do. And that’s a good thing. A great thing! If every employee thought the same way as every other employee, fewer inspired ideas would surface and grow. A team full of YOU would be amazing, I’m sure 🙂 But it wouldn’t account for the diversity of experiences that makes us individuals. A team of “”Michaels”” would be inquisitive, collect information, and work to sort through the clutter to find the best route. We would also spend way too much time talking about what we made for dinner last night. How would a company only comprised of YOUs think, act and solve problems? What would be missing?
